Delivery

All the items in stock are shipped the same day

The delivery options for online sales are selectable at checkout.

For high value items the delivery is always trackable and is done using DHL, UPS and FedEX unless otherwise specified by the customer.

 

Return and cancellation policy

We will not accept returns of partially (or completely) assembled kits and unpackaged items. We will accept returns of new, un-opened items in their original packaging within 30 days of the order date, but you will have to pay for the return shipping and a $3 + 15% restocking fee. The initial shipping charge is not refundable. If you do decide to make a return, please contact us to obtain a return authorization code. We do not accept returns of batteries and AC adapters.

You can cancel an order free of charge if we receive your cancellation request before your order is processed. However, once the credit card company has processed your payment, they charge us a fee, so there is a 3.5% credit card processing fee to cancel an order if we receive your request after your payment has been processed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order.

Hokuyo and SICK Parts

The buyer shall examine the Goods and in doing so check every delivery in any respect. Any claim by the buyer which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to correspond with specification shall be notified in writing to the seller within a reasonable time from the date of delivery. The claim of missing pieces or transport damages has to be communicated immediately, latest within one week after receipt of the goods.

In case of hidden defects the notification has to occur immediately upon discovery of the hidden defect.

Hokuyo

We do not have any Service Agreement for maintenance on these products (Hokuyo Parts).
Our warranty period is for a year (Hokuyo Parts) however if there is an issue caused by customer misuse or any altering of the products the warranty will be voided.
The repair cost depends on the model and parts to be repaired or replaced.
Products with issues can be returned to our office (or to Hokuyo depending on location of user) for an evaluation to determine if it is a warranty issue or if it needs to be quoted for a repair.

SICK

The warranty period for SICK parts is two years from receipt of goods.

The buyer is entitled to demand the delivery of any substitute Goods or repair.

Where any valid claim in respect of any Goods which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the Goods or their failure to meet specification is notified to the seller in accordance with these Conditions, the seller shall be entitled at the seller’s sole discretion to either replace the Goods free of charge or repair the goods. If the seller is neither ready nor able to either repair or replace the goods the buyer shall be entitled at the buyer’s sole direction to claim for a reduction of price or the cancellation of the contract. The cancellation is excluded if the defect is minor and insignificant.
